Dont like the scrolling in the newest version.

I ❤️ the L. A. Times but the website is very frustrating when I look for articles. My favorite is the best restaurants from J. G. I wish they can copy the N. Y. Times.

Impossible to read index of Top Stories during news updates. Index painfully jumps to top while trying to read.

not so good when youve loaded app and you hit a link to another story and app moves you to safari to read it. too many ads that conflict with reading articles. i dont want pop-ups telling me that ive "won" something. i just want to read the news.

I like this app and have never had it crash on me. I just wish that it worked better. Clicking links causes it to jump to Safari quite often. Also, I d like for it to open to the latest news instead of a section of the paper that I didnt choose. But I love the direction the paper has headed in the past few years and am glad to be able to read it on the go.

I am disappointed. Do you not realize that when you spin your stories in one direction, when you omit opposing facts or fail to report the opposing side(s) altogether you are damaging the free speech you require to operate? You are literally chipping away (willingly) at your own foundations. Please hire some editors and authors who possess a stronger ethic and a better journalistic professionalism that transcends the issues. Focus on the facts and try a lot harder to be fair and impartial in your reporting.

I enjoy reading the LA Times for these reasons. Keep up the good work! The new format is much better than before. But I would like to see a layout like on the newspaper so you can easily browse the headlines with little scrolling.

The Los Angeles Time app gives me a quick look into the paper every day. I like to jump around in the paper. The app has a nice strip of sections at the top, and just enough highlights of each article for me to scan through to find the one I want to concentrate on.

I use the app daily and it works fine for me.

Latest update just keeps crashing. As you read the headlines the app seems to reset back to the top of the section. Tried reinstalling. Same result. Please fix.

A good app. Very informative . I learn a lot . I enjoy all the sections but entertainment and sports are my favorite . Very worthwhile . Good writers .

Loved app for long time could get quick view of news on my iPhone. As suggested by support I have deleted the app and reinstalled repeatedly but it will not show more than two articles at a time. The scrolling capability is messed up. Fix it please.

The one thing that drives me crazy about this app, is reading an article and then going back somewhere back up the list of articles I already scrolled through. Please, when you finish reading an article and go back to the list of news items, take me back to where I was when I clicked on the article I wanted to read!

Not being in a constant wifi environment, I need to "download for off-line reading". Which works very badly if at all. Often it will be 2/3,of the way and if interrupted I have to restart. More often it just doesnt appear to have worked at all. And it takes so long that you need to find some other significant task to do while waiting, though due to iOS background limitations (maybe), not read another news source like Washington post which will download automatically when idle. Of course I am back East so maybe the service isnt supposed to work, but I will miss having a solid source of West Coast media.

I love the Los Angeles Times, their stories are always great. As a Californian, I love having a good west coast paper. I am a digital subscriber, and the app works great. The notifications work perfectly, they always open up to the story correctly, everything is beautifully laid out! I just wish theyd add more of a dark theme! I use this app on an iPhone 6s Plus, no problems ever!

The new software is terrible I think Ill cancel my subscription
